It was tough to figure out as the seizures were so hard to "see". She has been on meds for 1 year and has another year to go. My son was diagnosed with a...First time commenting! My son was diagnosed with absence seizure epilepsy when he was 7 (he's 10 now). He was on 2 pills a day until this summer and it's been dropped down to 1 pill a day. It took a few medication trials initially to get the correct one and the correct dose. He was having up to 30 seizures a day, some as long as 45 seconds. If you add that up that takes a lot of "life" out of life! She will do good on the medication.
