Just one question on this busy day...
What will you do on Christmas Eve?
Our Booshay Christmas Eve has been bumped up to tonight.
Our relatives are leaving for Egypt tomorrow morning so we will celebrate tonight.
Here.
It has become a tradition to come to our house for the gift exchange on Christmas Eve.
I like it this way, truly.
On the menu;
Barbecued Pork
Turkey
Buns
Broccoli/Cauliflower Salad
Mandarin Orange Salad
veggie platter
cheese and sausage platter
jello
Ruffles
Cool Ranch Doritos
carrot cake
cashews, honey roasted peanuts, Frango mints, M & M's
We don't have room to seat 16 at a table...so we wander and scatter to different rooms. It's very casual.
It's a nice tradition.
Katie's birthday will be celebrated in relative quiet this year.
I told her she could open her presents in the morning (Sunday). Yippee!
And we will attend a Christmas Eve service.
It should be a very quiet day.
I feel the peace already.
Dona nobis pacem.
Dona nobis pacem.
Look closely at the girl in the white apron in Carl Larsson's painting.
She is me.
My cheeks will be flushed just like hers tonight.

I have a special poem to post tomorrow,
but after that I shall be quiet until Tuesday.
Off to work.
Encourage one another,
Donna
