I think September is my favorite month.
When Harry Met Sally lunch spot in Central Park.
I miss Ginny.
Nat King Cole's version of Autumn Leaves is perfect.
Happy September.
I hope you get to wear a sweatshirt or your favorite sweater soon.
Encourage one another,
Donna

That poem! What a delight! And of course the photos. So glad you don’t make us pick a favorite. Autumn is such a joyfully melancholy season! (I got to wear a fall sweater yesterday!) anita
ReplyDeleteYes! That poem. Words that paint a picture and atmosphere. (is that what I'm trying to say??) My zinnia's faces are truly disheveled.
DeleteLovely poem….love the photos…love the orange stripes everywhere!
ReplyDeleteHappy September! xo, Virginia
September here is still in the upper 90's and even low 100's at times - but something about the air gives hope that cooler weather is coming. I'm jealous of those who get to experience a "real" fall. We have a trip planned for sometime in the next couple of days, though and we'll get to see some gorgeous fall color!
ReplyDeleteI miss Ginny too. My Ginny was named Dakota; she had the softest ears - like the best kind of velvet. She loved to swim in the pool and would fling herself with abandon into the water over and over. We have a cool September going on right now in SC and I am gardening my heart out. The leaves are falling and I love/hate it because it's so cool until its just a big mess for me to clean up over and over. All is well and all shall be well. It is exercise after all!
