I told you he could make George sound sweet!
"At the moment, the only legacy I want to pass on to him is to sleep more and maybe not have to change his nappy so many times," he laughed. ~Prince William
“I love these little people; and it is not a slight thing when they, who are so fresh from God, love us.”
~Dickens

NOthing like a baby..nothing like it !!!!
ReplyDeletehearing William speak reminds me of Diana so!
Yes....I thought the same.
DeleteAwwww! Sounds like a typical proud daddy, doesn't he? :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

I've loved him since he was George's age....and I love him still. <3

I also remember William's infancy very well; *my* first born came into the world the same month. This is a sweet glimpse into their lives.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the way he says "George" sounds wonderful :-)
Awww. I was wondering if the Americans would wonder what a "nappy" is lol. Nappy means something different in the US doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteYes. It does. I recognize a few British terms. Boot, nappy, jumper. all meaning different things here in the states :o)
ReplyDeleteIt's so sweet watching new parents. I remember so well Diana letting a fussy William suck on her pinky trying to calm him at his christening. Such a sweet moment.
ReplyDeleteAs a grandmother with a new grandbaby (Eleanor, born last May) it makes me sad that Diana could not have become a grandmother, knowing how much she loved babies and children.
ReplyDeleteWilliam has always and still reminds me so much of my son who was born around the same time as William. I thought they looked alike as little boys and I still see resemblance whenever I see William.
His mother would have been very proud of how he's grown up and how down-to-earth he seems. I wish them nothing but joy, happiness and more nights filled with sleep ... LOL
ReplyDeleteFinally got a chance to watch this. What a proud Daddy!

Another late day for us, but I could not resist coming to see what fun things are going on here at QL. What a touching interview with Prince William, the young father. It is obvious that he adores his wife and child. Like others said here, I only wish Princess Diana could be here to see the sweet family. love and prayers, jep
ReplyDeleteI loved this interview. I cannot wait to see the rest. What a sweet Daddy and husband, loving and protective.
ReplyDeleteI love this so much.
ReplyDeletePrecious.
ReplyDeleteAnd Dickens' quote brought tears to my eyes.
