Oh my goodness, how could I have waited so long to post. I am really sorry.
Here is a cute little story.
Melinda says that Ezekial says, "I can't want to."
And today Matthew took Zeke through the car wash and Zeke said, "I can't like it."
How funny is that? Learning language is hard. But he is figuring it out....
he'll get his contractions correct in no time.
But for now...it's so cute!
Encourage one another,
Donna
He is such a joy!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh what a sweetie! How funny! I think I want to borrow some of his phrases. "I can't want to." So perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat's so precious. I'm glad you're recording it so you won't forget. We never corrected our littles when they said something wrong. They became part of our everyday language. My parents still say things like wop the floor for mop the floor, pannycakes for pancakes, and yown for yawn. I could go on and on and on. But I won't because "I'm a cowboy and I'm serious now!" ;)
ReplyDeleteI found this post on my blog from 2009!
