Katie fell on the floor and bumped her head. She blamed Ginny.
It wasn't really her fault.
But then...Katie does not like when I tease Ginny about going places....
This happens around here a lot.
I read that the ears back and paw up means submission.
That's good. She needs to know I am her leader.
But I think she is acting a little needy.
Just back from our wildflower tour where we spent time with family and four dogs. The two golden retrievers were always playing and I tried to stay out of their way, but almost got knocked down. Thankfully I found myself able to grab the arm of a strong adult nephew and stay upright. Whew! I am sure I would have been crying to land on the floor. The bluebonnets are up, but just barely. They are short right now, but still pretty. Now I must go back and read all of the comments here about Bonhoeffer. love and prayers, jep PS Yes, I agree you are getting good at the vine videos and Ginny is cute even when she is in trouble. ;-)
Ok, I say this because I love..........Shame on you Donna! You are being a meanie to tease Ginny about going anywhere! This is all they live for besides the love of family and a good meal! I can tell you that Labs love their people so intensely and they are very sensative, your tone is everything. You can say any words, but your tone is everything. I'm saying this as a former lab owner, a current standard and toy poodle owner and all around dog lover! Love you, Karen F.
Such a sweet doggy. (I am not an animal person, so...it's something for me to say that. :) ) (Please forgive me. I love other people's love for their pets.) I also love hearing you guys! It's fun when you get to hear the voice of the person you read so much!
You're a human and understand. Your dog gets all excited thinking it's going somewhere. She doesn't understand. You're her whole world. I never doubted that you don't love your dog. Never said you weren't a nice person or bad dog owner, you're not.
Our Campus Minister tripped over her dog last week and broke BOTH her arms! She can't even scratch her nose! Have you ever heard of such a thing? Both arms? I can't even imagine... Be careful!! ;-) Thanks for the great videos of Ginny. She reminds me of a lab we had named Spooner. She was a great dog. I miss her. Have you seen this YouTube video about Dogs and God? Cute! http://youtu.be/H17edn_RZoY

It's mean to tease your dog! You wouldn't like it done to you
ReplyDeletePets make us mad :) So funny video !
ReplyDeleteI am teased everyday.
ReplyDeleteGinny is loved 99.9 % of the time.
She'll be fine.

DeleteI cannot view this on my Kindle but this I know -- Ginny is a blessed doggy!
ReplyDelete:-)
Ginny is one of the best-loved dogs I know. Shame on anyone who would accuse Donna of anything different!
ReplyDeleteNo one accused her not loving her dog, just that's it's mean to tease and it is!
