Oh my word. OH MY WORD! I can't even believe it. I had heard it somewhere, but I didn't comprehend or search out the video. That is just crazy. What a sweet baby girl. They seem like a very nice couple. I wish them well.
Me too. Beautiful little baby and darling parents. They have two other children, I think about six and four. I just love that they gave her middle name after the woman who gave them her coat. Great tribute :o)
I love it! From the title, I thought it was going to be a story of wretched misery. The mom is charming in her joyful lack of self-consciousness.
One of my former co-workers had her baby by herself on her hide-a-bed in the living room. When the ambulance arrived, she was holding her boy in her arms.
My first comment disappeared, so I will quickly say Thanks for the story Donna! So happy the Doorman was there and the people of NY were so helpful. love and prayers, jep
PS Our youngest son wanted to be a Doorman when he grew up and when he was little he would open doors for family, friends, strangers and once a celebrity Reba MacEntire who said, "Thank you little man." ;-) jep He decided to be a CPA instead.
I love this story! Isla Isabelle will have quite the unique birth story! I could listen to birth stories and how baby names are selected for hours. It fascinates me. Does anyone else feel that way?
Ummm... Donna? It's a basketball video.
ReplyDeleteYou got here very fast Stephie. Cukoo internet vids. As soon as I posted it I went back to change it.
DeleteDid you like the basketball video?
I was here earlier, saw the strange internet stuff. ??? then refreshed, and it was all better. Cool story!

Deletethe baby is very precious, and the Mom seemed none the worse for wear? Glad the sweet gal with the coat had a lovely name :-) I hope they find her.
