Graduation night

The students were whisked off to a restaurant with their teachers after the graduation...in big limos.
Katie had a lot of fun.

Wish you were here.

Saturday night was another night of celebration.  Two families hosted a party at a pretty country club. It was just perfect, the kids danced and seemed to be having tons of fun.  I left at eight to meet up with Emma and Patrick at the Union.  Then we went back at ten for pick up.

Waiting for the bus. I'll miss you Emma.

Emma went home Sunday on the Megabus.  It was hot and windy at the bus stop and the bus was late as usual.

Yesterday the all went to Great America.

Katie has been sick with Laryngitis for a week and the festivities have really taxed her little throat.
I am making her totally relax today.

Oh yeah.

Emma and I had too much fun in church to really get all blubbery.  I sing the wrong notes and the wrong words and well...this makes us giggle.
A long mass with very little sentimentality...nothing really to cry about I guess.
Thanks for your prayers.  I think they were answered.

There were no tears tonight.  Emma and I were having too much fun.

Super Fun Weekend!

Hope you are all doing well!

Encourage one another,
Donna

  1. Dear, sweet Katie with the wide open world waiting for her! May high school be a ton of fun, loads of learning, and the establishment of lifelong friendships. Happy 8th grade graduation!!!

I love all the pictures, and the traditions that Katie's school has look like tons of fun. The dress she is wearing at the grad is so classy and pretty. I am glad it passed inspection!

I enrolled Brennan in high school yesterday. I cried, just a wee bit, before we went over, but then I was fine. He is working out with the basketball team, and it is a great reminder of why we are doing what we are doing.

    Much love to you, Donna.

What a wonderful weekend of fun!! Sounds like Katie's school knows how to do things up right. Bless Emma for being your partner in giggling so that you weren't even tempted to blubber. And prayers for a great freshman year for Katie-- after a relaxing summer vacation, of course!

  8. I just can't stay serious in that church, don't know what it is... but I do know that Miz Boo could sing louder than the entire congregation combined, if she so wished.
