They are All My Family

Forty years ago today...the fall of Saigon.

I was a silly high school senior.  Didn't know a thing about what was going on in the world.
This is the kind of story that teaches me, brings light to a certain situation.
CBS This Morning aired this...this morning.

When people act in noble and selfless ways
it makes me cry.

Inspired,
Donna

  2. I was just another silly high school senior at the time. Some people are so good and so brave that it makes me love being in the world with them.

Hi Donna. PBS just aired a special on the fall of Saigon on the series "American Experience". It was very in-depth but so interesting. It is available to watch online if you go to their website. And, I have to say, I love your blog! I look forward to reading it everyday! Kim in Austin

We were young parents with friends in the military when the Fall of Saigon occurred. It was one of those times that is seared into my memory. Another time is when our POWs came home...many grateful tears. Thanks for sharing Donna. love and prayers, jep
