One year ago today...
we boarded a plane and headed to the ranch.




It was Katie's first time on a plane.
We held hands.



When we arrived, Katie sang along to Living on Tulsa Time.




We woke up very early.




Ree picked us up in the feed truck.





We laughed a lot!




We cheered on the cowboys.



Emma smiled.



Ree took pictures.



And so did I.




After Katie rode a big horse we went back to the lodge.....

and it was only 9:30.



Little boys wore belts and collars and hats.




The view was wide.




And the wind was windy.



I miss that hot windy ranch....
and the people who live there....
