Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est.
Where Charity and Love are, God is there.
Again, Jep shares an amazing quote with us.

I want to thank you all for your prayers for Emma.
This morning she was blessed with a totally unexpected scholarship
from her college. She did not apply for it.
It comes in the same amount (extra) she was going to have to borrow
for next semester.
We know this is a gift from God and I sincerely thank you wonderful
prayer warriors for always remembering our Emma.
Every good and perfect gift is from above.
xoxo

ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when God gives us something that we didn't have

ReplyDeleteWhat a great bit of news for Emma! And you. I love the way God works things for us.
ReplyDeleteI've been praying for Emma and your family. Such fantastic news!
ReplyDeleteWow, what an amazing gift for Emma. Even when you know he's with you, it still so heart warming and heart stopping to have him show up in such a way -- especially when the last few months have been filled with the unexpected. Such a wonderful blessing.
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God for knowing what is needed and providing it.
ReplyDeleteHe does not fail us!
love and prayers, jep
Years ago we went to a weekend at Kanuga, an Episcopal camp in the Carolinas and the priest there taught us this refrain from the antiphon used during Lent as a meditative chant. We did not sound anything like the choir that Steph sent us to in her earlier comment, but I loved the words and they stuck with me. jep
DeleteI have lots of friends in leadership at Kanuga... Very near to the Cove, where I sing regularly. What a joy!
DeleteAWESOME SAUCE ( like the commercial says). God is SO in charge! Love it. Karen F.
ReplyDeletecontinuing to pray for Emma. daily.
