Dear God, Please be with Emma and make her whole and healed with whatever will heal her, but especially with Your divine grace and love flowing through those around her caring for her. Amen
Dear Donna, you know I don't believe in God. But, if he exists, I would pray him, to help Emma. I would pray each God in each religion. I think of you, and of your family, so much... Very very very friendly, Axelle the french reader.
Donna----just now getting to your page---prayers for sweet Emma on the way and for you too, sweet girl. Know we all love you and care deeply for you and your entire family. XXOO
Our Gracious Heavenly Father, You know Emma. You know what she needs right now. Thank you Lord that we can call upon your name, where two or three are gathered, there you are in the midst of them. Please Lord, whatever is happening, please be with Emma, Donna, and all the Boucher's as they navigate this journey. Help them to rest in you and trust you, We know you are safe to trust. Praying for comfort and peace and answers for them this evening. Please give Emma the healing she needs. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
Continued prayers this evening, for Emma, for you, for your family. I'm thinking about Psalm 27 and Romans 5 because those are scriptures that I looked to during a tough time in my past. Ps 2:13-14 says: I would have despaired unless I had seen the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord, Be strong and let your heart take courage; yes wait for the Lord. And Romans 5:3-5 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Thank you all for the prayers and good wishes. Emma is feeling well tonight. She is at her apt in Chicago with friends to be with her and comfort her. Seizure days are trying and scary for all of us. Emma was looked after lovingly by friends and I am very grateful.
Thank you for the update, Donna. It is always a comfort to a mama's heart to know our loved ones are gently cared for and support by friends when they are going through difficult times and we can't be there. I will continue to pray {{{Donna}}}
Donna, Just visited QL today for the first time this week and saw your post. My heart is heavy for you as Emma's Mom, and for Emma as she travels this uncharted voyage in life. I will be praying for you, her, your family, and the caregivers involved in her life. You all will be lifted up on the hour today, all day, until I put my head down tonight. Don't lose hope - it's often darkest before the dawn.... with love, mary e. from wheaton
Thank you again for your beautiful prayers. Emma slept well and will stay home from her internship today. Not too achy which is good. I will head to Chicago to be with her for a pretty special test on Friday. Think hat. I will ask her if I can take pictures and blog about it.
Feel free to ask questions here or in email. Too many strangers on Facebook to share over there.
As soon as I posted this, I remembered I forgot!! I did read the recap on the website you told me about. If you have time and want to link that in the comments I would not mind at all. :oP
Thanks for another update! I'm so glad to hear she's doing well post seizure and I'm glad you can be with her for the test Friday. Nothing like having mom....
Sending prayers for your lovely daughter, her parents and all who are caring for her. Our old next door neighbors in Austin had a son who had never had any health issues and then one day just started having seizures daily (sometimes many a day). I know how emotionally difficult it was for them and what a rabbit hole they felt like they were in while chasing it down. They did find out over time what it was and he is now seizure-free. May this journey for Emma be short and hoping answers come soon!! Until then, comfort and strength for you all.
Dearest Donna, I am late to this request for prayer, but I will make up for lost time tonight and in the days to come. God bless you all as you wait for answers. Love to you, Di
Donna, I am praying hard for Emma and for all of you and all of her friends who are close by her side. This must be scary for all of you, but you all know that God is with her and knows what is ahead. I will keep the prayers coming. Big hugs from the other side of the state.
