I love photography.
Is there a better reason than this picture taken in 1960.
Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again.

You're a cool mom. Still alive here in Chicago.
ReplyDeleteI made it over to your website this morning. Your photos are so amazing. Sigh. If I had even a quarter of your photography talent I would be so thrilled.
ReplyDeleteDebbie Z.
P.S. Love Emma's comment above. Emma, you have so many Quiet Life readers rooting for you and praying for you.
^^Ditto Debbie Z's comments to both Donna and Emma!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI echo that ditto!
DeletePhotos are treasures
Amen, we are all praying for you Emma!
ReplyDeleteI also went to your name site today and was so impressed Donna.
The pictures certainly reveal that you are the Photographer of light and smiles and beautiful people. My favorite is the one with Katie and Patrick and the KISS sign. Just perfect!
And, that song is one I don't remember ever hearing, but totally fits you. Well done!
love and prayers, jep
Photographs and memories...
ReplyDeleteOld photo albums are my favorite especially ones from my granddaddy. I never remember him having a camera in his hands all the time, but he must have because he documented our childhood so well.
Emma, we are continuing to pray for you!
That is the coolest picture.
ReplyDeleteI am glad God gave her to you.
Beautiful family. Your story is filled with love.
Sadness, but love too.
And isn't love what it is all about?
