coming home

Driving west toward Wisconsin last Thursday afternoon.
The light in this part of Iowa has delighted me more than once.
The road rides up high with farms on both sides of the road, slopping downward.
It's feels like flying a bit.
No trees to block the sun or the view.
It's my favorite place to drive...at the perfect time of day.

There are two ways of getting home; and

one of them is to stay there. The other is to 

walk round the whole world til we come

back to the same place.
