Awww....they are so precious. I know how you feel. Two of my grandbabies live in California and if we are blessed, we see them once-a-year. The other five live about 50 minutes from us, but for reasons I can't explain, we only see them once every couple months. Makes me very sad, but I have to remind myself that the Lord knows. Thanks for sharing with us!!
Ohhhhh, it is so hard living far from grands, isn't it? I have a few that I'm blessed to see every few months, but two that I haven't seen in almost two years. Breaks my heart, but like Robin I have to remind myself that the Lord knows and I have to trust Him in this situation even though I don't understand it. It doesn't stop me from loving them and missing them.....
Such darling boys and what a joy to be with them when you can. We are blessed to get to see our grands almost every week and only live about 40 minutes away in case we are needed in an emergency. It is a blessing and we are grateful and thank God every day for them and our being close by. Skype is one way we keep up with our out of the state family and phone calls. I think back to my grandmother's time when she and her mother communicated through penny postcards. I have a box of them and enjoy reading them. They only lived a few hours apart, but travel was by horse and wagon back then, so not too many visits. I leave you with the important words I read in two of my devotions today (I think God is trying to tell me something)...."Trust God!" love and prayers, jep
Donna, It's been so long since I've gotten to check in and read your blog. Have missed it!! My goodness the boys have grown so quickly...they are still adorably cute. I hope you and yours have a very Happy Thanksgiving!! Hugs, E.
I've missed your blog!! Love the beautiful pics of the boys. I was especially enamored by the snow pic on IG yesterday morning. Despite the hustle of traveling this week, there's something definitively quiet about Thanksgiving as a holiday -- thankful reflection, I suppose. That image embodied the quiet winter thankfulness so much to me. Thank you for sharing with us.
But if they never invented transportation, I might never have met you and Katie! That would make me sad. Meanwhile I am thankful for the internet where I can be ever so amazed my your photography, your words and your kindness. love you mean it all the way from RI xoxo
I can only imagine!

Well. There is perspective. Two years. Why did they invent cars and airplanes?
DeleteI blame transportation.
I wish it was as simple as transportation issues :*-(

Tammy, I meant if there were never cars or planes then they would never have moved away from us in the first place.
DeleteDoes Mr. Potato Head have a camera? How perfect! Such beautiful boys. Bet they wish you lived closer, too.
