“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you.”
A.A. Milne

  1. Beautiful Emma. Continuing to pray for her and you. That's one of my favorite A.A. Milne quotes.

We uploaded a new system on our computer and I kept getting your Nov. 7th blog wondering why. I missed the fantastic news about your newest grandson and wow is he handsome. We are so very happy for you and for Melinda and Matthew and their crew of fellows. Praying for Emma with hope that God will help her and guide her in His ways. Thanks be to God for new babies and helpful medicine and doctors. love and prayers, jep

  11. My nieces twins (7 years) have a seizure disorder. Their physician referred them to http://www.charliefoundation.org. It is an eating plan that in 80% of the cases eliminates seizures. To switch to the plan, they were hospitalized to monitor them, and give the mom information, and the plan. I am happy to say it is working. It cannot hurt to check it out. Roberta

  12. I had to add something here, Donna. I linked over to Rob's suggested website (charliefoundation.com), thinking I'd know what I'd find. Indeed, I too, adhere to a Keto diet, and have eliminated neurological issues that have been debilitating for decades. I am not one to post about 'miracle' cures, but I have to share that my multiple-times-a-week-migraines, that would have me in bed with horrific pain, vomiting and unable to talk sometimes, for the whole day (and sometimes, two), have been completely eliminated. I mean NOT. ONE. I also had a brain tumor removed in 2001, and have not had ANY issues with the remaining tumor (they couldn't take it all or I'd have been left side paralyzed, and more) since eating this diet.I would stress that it's not a diet, but a lifestyle way of eating / living.

I am not a fanatic - am a surgeon's daughter, actually, so I have a high regard for excellently practiced medicine, but after almost a year of adhering to a keto diet, I am a different person. If you want to talk about it at all, feel free to let me know. We emailed a year ago (about your one day workshops), so you probably have my email still. If not, let me know and I'll contact you.

Just wanted to share something that so dramatically changed my life for the better.
