words and music

This is my favorite.  I heard it for the first time at church with my friend Lynn.
Her brother sang it.
It was moving and memorable.

Merry Christmas,
Donna

  5. I love this song too :) I remember hearing Michael W Smith sing this when I went to his concert in 2000. Then I got to sing it for a Christmas concert in high school. It holds so many memories for me.

    Merry Christmas!

Your choice of words, pictures and music always speak to my soul. Thank You!

Yesterday in one of my devotion books I came across: A Prayer by Saint Anselm
"Lord, teach me to seek you and show me yourself when I look for you.
I cannot seek you unless you show me how:
I cannot find you unless you reveal yourself.
So let me look for you in hope and with longing,
let me long for you as I seek.
But let me find you in love and love you as I find you."

Beautiful words over 900 years old and they made me think of God's love you share in this place, Dear Donna...May God bless you and your family this Christmas. love and prayers, jep
