As you can see we brought Ginny along on our trip....
it was a terrible decision.
She is smiling like a nut in this picture but she was unsettled the whole time.
Malachi liked her but she scared Ezekiel. Just by being big I think.
I tried to get a dog sitter too late and she did not have an opening....and actually I thought Ginny would have fun...
but she didn't.
Fun game with Emma!
Again.
Again.
Again.
Malachi touched Emma's tattoo and then looked at his finger to see if the color came off.
I like his hands in this picture.
Middle Child Love.
Malachi called both Patrick and I "Yaya".
How cute is that?
Thanks for all the nice comments on the last post.
Love
Donna
I am so glad you got to visit your grand babies. I know you had a wonderful time despite the dog being unhappy : ). I am reading a book about a dog right now called The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. It makes me cry.
ReplyDeleteI think it is adorable that he calls you both YaYa. Aren't little people fun? I hope you get to see them again this summer. : )
I read that book with my book club, and one of the husbands dropped in because he had to talk about it, too. There is a children's version of it as well, but I can't recall the title.
DeleteI want to read it!
DeleteWonderful book, sad too but worth the read.
DeleteWiFi on the bus! Bless Ginny's heart. Well, now you know.
ReplyDeleteMalachi is a cutie! They ALL are :-)
Troy always played that game with Al and Zach, they deemed it: Put me Up in the SKY!!!!
ReplyDeleteBonny does not not not handle going on visits well at all. She is still recovering from Saturday's 'Open House on the Farm with too many people, kids, and treats' trauma.
ReplyDeleteYour middle baby is just...oh goodness. He is one of the brothers but with his own Boucher spin. What that grin does to his cheekbones and chin is magic.
What a beautiful boy! So glad you two Yayas and girls had a nice visit. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful boy! He reminds me the most of your photos of your boys at young ages. Our sons loved the as they called it "Airplane Game." Aunt Emma is very understanding to recognize that once is not enough. Poor Ginny, we understand entirely our grand dog had to go to the vet's office when he and his family came in April to see us....just too much stress riding in the car and being in a strange place. Maybe they can come see you at your house and enjoy Ginny there. love and prayers, jep
ReplyDeleteI am sorry Ginny didn't have a good time. We tried to take Mandy on a trip once...disaster. I am a middle child as well. Malachi will appreciate any and all extra attention he gets :). He is adorable!
ReplyDeleteYour commenters are much kinder to sweet, stressed out Ginny than we are ;)
ReplyDeleteDoggies sure do feel all the feels.
Deleteoh, poor Ginny! So much to be overwhelmed by in a new situation. Extra hugs to her!
ReplyDeleteoh that darling naughty boy.
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable. And everyone is blessed to have you with that camera!! :)
ReplyDeleteleave Ginny at my house next time. Of course, I'd rather have a person, but I'll take a dog if that's all I can get.
