Chris Martin Carpool Karaoke

Yesterday it snowed heavily but briefly.
It thundered five or six times.

That is how the report should go.
All the drama over the weather is annoying me.

We got less than two inches.

The solution is to stop watching television.

That pine tree on the left is getting skinny.  It must be sick.

******

Enjoy!!!!

Song list.

""Adventure of a Lifetime," "Yellow," "Hymn for the Weekend," and "Viva La Vida," David Bowie's "Heroes," "Us Against the World," "Paradise," and an improvised Superbowl song on a toy keyboard."

Encourage one another,
Donna

  1. When you live in the South and there is any inkling of ice/snow, it is best you turn off the television and just watch the sky. ;)

Like a delusional ninny even though I was not sure who Chris Martin is until they finally said Coldplay and I thought wasn't he married to Gwyneth Paltrow, I thought I could help you figure out the name of the song. I wrote down the lyrics and heard some other songs until like the blind hog and the acorn I stumbled upon Coldplay Us Against the World. Ta da! I so hope I am right. love and prayers, jep

  3. Oh, Donna. My favorite thing is to watch people have a lot of fun doing their work. Jimmy Fallon is my usual go-to guy but this Carpool Karaoke is so perfect. Love it.

We could have filmed a good version of this on our trip to Baraboo, Donna. Why didn't we think of that? Hardee har har.

    Happy Wednesday.

    Love,
    Di

  6. I used to DVR The Late Late Show (the show this comes from). I stopped with the new host as the transition was a little jarring. I've seen so many good clips, though, that I might try it again. I like to see something funny before I fall asleep at night but I am not up that late.

I live in Colorado and we had a storm the past few days. I predicted to my husband exactly what would happen: 1) The news stations try to report that a storm is coming, but they can't win. The explain and explain that they know how much moisture we'll get, but whether that's a couple inches or a couple feet depends on how cold it gets. 2) It starts snowing and everybody gets scared of the big storm! 3) After 24 hours there's about 3 inches and everybody takes to Facebook to complain about how wimpy the storm was. It's still snowing! 4) Overnight we get an additional foot of snow and the old stuff is now slick ice underneath the powdery snow. Schools and businesses close. Accidents everywhere. The same people who complained about how wimpy the storm was complain that they didn't know it was going to be so bad! 5) still waiting on this stage, maybe Friday - highs climb to the 40's or 50's and it all melts away.
