This t-shirt is pinned up at my husband's desk at work.

The man who doesn't wear t-shirts, who has never purchased an item of children's clothing in his life, fell in love with this funny little t-shirt.

So, of course, we had to buy it for him.

It makes him smile.

Go figure.

This year summer jobs seem a little harder to come by.
Emma has finally started a part time job that we are hoping turns into something a little more.

She is working at a restaurant nearby. It is a very cool place. It has been in Midwest Living Magazine. A long time ago.
I remember coming down to Madison to visit and wanting to go there because I had read about it. That was a long time ago. I'll bet that was before Emma was born.

But anyway, Lynn had her wedding reception there and I had my little birthday gathering there last year.

I like to eat their onion rings.

So now Emma is working there. Part time.
Her training went well last night. She mentioned that 'there are a lot of stairs'.
It's a good thing she has been running all semester. She didn't know it but she was getting in shape to work at Quivey's Grove.

It's quite a lovely looking place. Friday Fish Fry, don't cha know ;o)

***

The past four days we have had rain most of the day.

But then around three o'clock the sun comes out and tries to warm us up.

And that is why I treasure the evening sun so much.

Again this morning we are greeted with rain.
But I have hope that the sun will shine in the evening.

When did Wisconsin become the rain forest?

It was all yellow.

Wishing you a great weekend!

Encourage one another,
