I am on the mailing list for Purlsoho and I actually love getting their emails.
I don't crochet...but these wash cloths make me want to learn.
I was nodding my head in agreement when I saw this t-shirt.
This touched my heart.
Even tho I have not been quilting in quite some time...I still love fabric.
One day I'm tearing out my cabinets.
Astonishing.
We are off to a baseball filled weekend.
We played at 9:15 this morning and will play again at 2:30.
The sun is shining and it is 30 ยบ out. The field was dry so that was fab.
We play again tomorrow...but there is rain in the forecast.
We shall see what the wind will blow our way.
Wishing you sunny skies and dry fields!
Love
Donna
My daughter loves that t-shirt!
ReplyDeleteLove that shirt..........also, absolutely no PC in the old books (obviously)!Hope the girls don't freeze, time for some hot chocolate after the game!n Karen F.
ReplyDeletePoor Sam - in his husky boy pants. Bless his heart.
ReplyDeletelovely fabric, and the quote from Peter Pan is sweet. You find the nicest things :-)
one of the nurses i work with has been crocheting washcloths for mother's days gifts during our slow times at night... she can make one so quicly, they are totally an instant gratfication craft. learn.
ReplyDeleteI'm just beginning quilting. The love of fabric is going to be the death of me...maybe not death, but ruination?
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend! With rain last night a cold front came through. It was 86 yesterday and only 63 today. Very nice.
Our DIL made us washcloths, but I think she knitted them. They are the softest things, so nice for using with kids and us old folks, too. ;-) If the alphabet had been in math form, I might never have learned to read. I am so grateful for the ABC's. I got to see Peter Pan on stage when I was about seven or eight. My parents bought me the records and I would sing, "I don't Wanna Grow Up," and "I Gotta Crow." For me, Mary Martin was the best Peter Pan ever. And, I agree with the quote. Lovely fabric and kitchen and thumbs down on the 1950's school reader...give me Dr. Seuss and his Green Eggs and Ham Sam instead. love and prayers for a good baseball weekend, jep
ReplyDeleteMelinda Sue's comment made me laugh. I've just learned to knit...am making dishcloths. Takes me a VERY long time to make one. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great. Thanks :D
ReplyDeleteGreat pins! The Peter Pan quote is excellent. Did you like Finding Neverland? What a tearjerker....
ReplyDeletePoor Sam. But what exactly is he wearing for shoes?? I'm puzzled by the drawing.

What an interesting variety of pins, Donna. I need to get back on Pinterest more regularly.
ReplyDeleteFINALLY a sunny day here. Not real warm, but sunny. When the sun shines I feel it from head to toe and it feels ohhhhhh sooooo good!
Blessings,
Tammy ~@~
I am glad to hear that Tammy! We had a sunny day today too. Two baseball games. It was chilly but it was DRY and light and it was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI could never have open cabinets... my didhes aren't nearly that pretty and my shelves are too crammed with other crap. Do these people have kids? I love the eclectic look of all the different white-ish collected dishes, i kinda want to do that.
ReplyDeleteI'm always thinking I can't do things because then no one would ever buy they house....
ReplyDeletebut really....where do I think I'm going?
I would like to quilt with you. My Grammy Leatherman used to quilt. She went to her friends house and they would quilt all day and give the quilts away. My Grammy was a mennonite. She had to always wear dresses. She was supposed to wear plain dresses but every once in a while she would wear a dress with a zipper. And she didn't care : ). She was truly the nicest person I have ever met. The absolute nicest. She always smiled. She always played with us. You know the kind of person that makes you feel good the moment you see them? That was my Grammy. She had the most wonderful smile and the biggest heart. I miss her so much. I am crying again. Every post of yours today is making me cry.
