Mark Ruffalo and Paul Rudd.
Amy Adams, Rachel McAdams and Isla Fischer.

I think its the hair.
Ruffalo and Rudd: curly brown hair

Amy, Rachel and Isla.
Often Redheads.

Behold. The blondes.

This is Naomi.  She was in The Impossible.
She is an Aussie and is married to Lev Schreiber.
She is friends with Nicole Kidman, I think.

Thank you for this information with photographs. Maybe I will be able to keep them straight for at least ten minutes, but probably no longer. All beautiful ladies, but I think Pam Dawber is lovely, too! I read somewhere that she sings sometimes in clubs. I had no idea she was a singer. Like you, a woman of many talents. love and prayers, jep
PS Heading out to get my dad for his 88th birthday party. He is the last living member of his WWII B-24 crew and much loved by his family.

    4. Happy Birthday Dad of JEP--- Thank you for your service. My dad was a tail gunner on a B-29. He would be 86. He died when he was 64. Way too young.

Thank you each one for your kind wishes for my dad. He enjoyed his day out eating homemade hamburgers on the grill surrounded by his child, grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. And, he got lots of books to read...his favorite present and hobby. Love you dear Miz Boo and QLCS! jep

    2. Carey Mulligan was in Pride & Prejudice. The silly daughter who did NOT marry a man in uniform. (I can't recall her name).

    3. Erm, I should edit the above ^^ Pride & Prejudice with Kiera Knightley.

  3. Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman have always confused me. Today I was looking up celebrity look alikes and saw a picture of Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Elijah Wood 'Frodo' side by side. It was crazy how much they look alike.

  5. I don't usually know the names of the actresses to begin with so I don't get too confused. ;) Did you see the Barbara Walters piece on Kate? Thought about you the whole time I watched it.

I agree with Steph -- Carey Mulligan is my favorite of the bunch! Her very first acting role was in the Keira Knightley P&P movie playing Kitty. She is adorable.

I also agree with Cheryl that your Pam Dawber brain is so entertaining!

And since I'm feeling so agreeable, I also love the name Matilda! :)

    2. I just commented above about Carey Mulligan and P & P but could not recall her character's name - and was too lazy to IMDB it. Thank you Mary for reminding me ... KITTY! She has grown up since then for sure.

  8. I didn't know Carrie Mulligan was married to Marcus Mumford! The fun things I learn on Quiet Life.

Those women are all beautiful, that's for sure!

    2. I have heard Evelyn Mumford speak at a Women's Church Retreat in Illinois - it was in 2006 and she was OUTSTANDING. I didn't realize til recently that she had a connection to Mumford and Son.

    3. Ooops - it is Eleanor Mumford. Sheesh, I think I need a cup of coffee.

  9. I didn't know any of them either and I saw the Great Gatsby recently. Women's looks can change so dramatically in different roles. I will never forget seeing Witness w/ Kelly McGillis (1985) and then seeing Top Gun in 1986 and doubting the credits !!
I was told I looked like Noreen Corcoran of Bachelor Father fame. Probably too old and unpopular TV show for most of you to remember. She is the sister of the CUTE little boy (little at the time)Kevin who played in a lot of Disney films.

    1. I thought Kelly McGillis was GORGEOUS in "Witness" ... sans any makeup. O. M. Gosh!!! Wonder what she is doing today ....

    2. Unless she has changed recently she has, like I have, gained a LOT of weight.

  10. Donna, I see the resemblance between you and Pam Dawber.

I was always told as a young one (between 12-17) that I looked like Hayley Mills. I'm just sayin'

  11. Thanks for keeping me up-to-date, Donna. I'm with Sarah P....wouldn't have recognized any of them, and had only heard of Naomi. Time to watch more movies!!! I used to love Pam Dawber, and didn't know she sings.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think I would recognize Michelle Williams but am not really familiar with Naomi or Sienna (except wasn't Sierra married to Jude Law?). That Carey Mulligan is adorable.

Lucky you to resemble Pam Dawber; she's so pretty! And of course it doesn't hurt that she's married to Mark Harmon. Just sayin'.

I've never been told that I look like anyone but my mother.

  13. Julie ~ I am told I look EXACTLY like my mom ... as much as I love my mom and I think she's beautiful ... it WOULD be nice to look like "yourself" ... sorry if this sounds harsh but it's how I feel ... guess everyone wants to be an individual.

45thPQ - I'm on the same page with you. Sometimes it even shocks me how much I look like my mother when I catch a glimpse of myself in a shop window or something, and even more so as the sprinkling of grays gather to make an invasion.

Like you, I'd like to have a more individual appearance to go along with the uniqueness inside me. :) It's good to know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Dawson's Creek, yes! With Katie Holmes and James Vanderbeek, right? I only remember seeing a couple of those episodes but it sure spawned a bunch of careers, didn't it?

  17. Donna! You can't get away with that last comment without posting a picture!
How about it everyone? Should Donna post a picture of Pam Dawber side by side with a picture of herself? :) Was Pam in Mork and Mindy? Married to Mark Harmon?
