"Come, little leaves," Said the wind one day, "Come over the meadows With me, and play; Put on your dresses Of red and gold; Summer is gone, And the days grow cold."
I saw this the other day and thought of you, Donna - and your wonderful autumn photos and poems.
BTW, I love these shots, above - our leaves have only just begun to change a teeny bit (except the vines on our apartment house; they are beautiful crimson already) - but brr, there is a chill in the air. It won't be long.
PS Whit said the other day "I love the view out your [kitchen] window!" I laughed and said, I love the window, but I wish the view was a little more building-less. ;)
Ah, the quote. So true. It's the first time we're able to breathe around here without the moisture of humidity. It feels so nice.
ReplyDeleteHello, Donna! Beautiful pics. Still waiting for fall in NoCal, but your colors are lovely.
