The simplest things...

tickle our fancies around here :o)

Weather

Dot a dot dot dot a dot dot
Spotting the windowpane.

Spack a spack speck flick a flack fleck
Freckling the windowpane.

A spatter a scatter a wet cat a clatter
A splatter a rumble outside.

Umbrella umbrella umbrella umbrella
Bumbershoot barrel of rain.

Slosh a galosh slosh a galosh
Slither and slather a glide

A puddle a jump a puddle a jump
A puddle a jump puddle splosh

A juddle a pump a luddle a dump
A pudmuddle jump in and slide!

-Eve Merriam

A change in the weather is very good.

We have the doors and windows open again...after about four weeks of shades down and air conditioning rushing, we let the outside come in again.

The cardinals whistle and the robins trill.
The outside smells drift in and freshen.

Wisconsin is at her best on a cool summer morning.

When is your state at her best?

Wish you were here!

Encourage one another,
Donna
