An Afternoon with Thelma and Louise: Wisconsin-Style.

Too much fun
Due to rain and teeny snow flurries, Lynn and I headed for the yarn store instead of the wide open spaces and the country church tour as originally planned.

Lynn has a great eye for color and couldn't help herself; immediately started rearranging yarn.

Being the crazy spontaneous chicks that we are, we finished our drinks, jumped in the car and headed to Mt. Horeb.
Lynn's home town and site of her very favorite store.

I had an idea for the calendar.

How I love twinkly lights.
Love em to pieces.

Off we went in the near dark to find a country church.

Vermont, Lutheran Church

This church is tucked in so nicely on a country lane.

But what is that? A truck.

You mean we don't have this spot all to ourselves?

Hunters, we presume.

Oops. We forgot our blaze orange.

Louise

Time to head home.

What fun we had!
Lynn and I laughed and chuckled our way thru the afternoon.
We are in our own little world of friendship and laughter when we are together.

Thelma and Louise- without the crime and the explosives and driving the car off a cliff.

Sunday Blessings!

Update:

From Evan Almighty

God: Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?

Pretty good, huh?

Encourage one another,
Donna
