It's May!

Much less chance of snow in May ...
and that makes it a favorite month!

Tra-la

These tulips are in my front yard.
If I don't take care of the little patches of 'garden' that were left here by the previous owners
I won't have any tulips next year.  The grass in moving in.

It's heck when spell check doesn't even have a clue...

Did you know these two are a real life couple?
Do you know who they are?

Tra-la

It was a huge surprise to me and I was delighted by it.

Happy May day friends!

  2. She is the voice of senior citizen Jenny Lee on Call the Midwife. But I am having a brain cramp and can't remember her name!

    Wait, Vanessa Redgrave!

I thought "Juliet" was a cute movie :-)

    I love your photos

Susan, I liked Letters to Juliet, too. Mainly the beautiful Italian countryside and the "late in life" romance. I had no idea that Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero were really married- like Donna, I am delighted by that. The wedding scene under the trees at his Italian vineyard/villa is just fabulous.

  3. She's also the grandmother in the Wind in the Willows movies that we love. I often thought my children loved those brief intros as much as they loved the animated stories.

Ranunculus are my favorite flower. I love how they look beautiful for so much longer than tulips. Those petals just get ruffly and sort of antique-y looking. Those pictures are spectacular, Donna. Such crisp images.

    Happy Friday!!! Woo Hoo!!!

    Love,
    Di
