Emma, our Princess of Wales
Photo delightfully spotted at Alan's site.

To sit in the shade on a fine day, and look upon verdure is the most perfect refreshment.
~Jane Austen

verdure \VUR-jur\, noun:
Green; greenness; freshness of vegetation; as, the verdure of the meadows in June.

It was a sweet view, sweet to the eye and the mind. British verdure, British culture, British comfort, seen under a sun bright, without being oppressive.
~Jane Austen

Get Real Monday
hosted by one cheeky mama

Our assignment is to talk about and show pictures of shoes you would find in our homes.

Well...Emma has my camera, so I can't show you the real thing!
But here are the cutest shoes in our house.

Most of the shoes around here are worn and some of them are smelly.
Emma has some pink pumps and strappy silver sandals that still look neat.
But mostly our shoes are worn.

The important thing about shoes is that they are worn.
They take you places
and keep your feet dry
But, the important thing about shoes
is that they are worn.

Encourage one another,
Donna
