All washed up.

DSC_4935-2

The nicest thing about the area we visited was the beach and the pool.

The sand was so clean and white. The bay was warmish and had great waves.

The girls played and played and played some more.

And then Katie got very burnt and we had to keep her out of the water much of the time and made her swim with a hat on.
And she was not happy about that.

Our fair skinned northern girl just couldn't keep up with her darling brown skinned cousins.

Which by the way was such a wonderful blessing for Katie on this trip.

Sarah and Lauren and Katie played so well together. It was just the best!

Such super sweet girls! Sincerely!

It's handy to have a 20 year old along who doesn't get over-heated and likes the beach.

Really handy.

Thank you Emma for helping with the girls down by the bay!!

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time. ~John Lubbock

Ah, summer, what power you have to make us suffer and like it. ~Russel Baker
