colorful canoes and logs.

Winga.

Log roll, anyone?

Fun on the lake.

  1. OMGosh ... those pictures are gorgeous ... I keep scrolling back to look at the colors against the sky! There is NO WAY that I could ever manage to stay up in a log roll ... they're definitely a spectator sport for me ... LOL

Donna, these pictures are so beautiful! Love the colors!! And the clouds!

I would like to ask a favor of the QLCS. If you would be so kind as to pray for someone very dear to me who is struggling with depression and other demons, I would greatly appreciate it.

We have a group of folks that are dealing with depression that we pray for on our morning walk and we will add your friend Mary Z. God bless and be with all those who need Him to help with depression and demons. Amen jep

  4. I so needed to see these beautiful colors and blue sky today, Donna. We had a peek at the sun this morning, but this afternoon it's back to gray. Which matches my sad day. Thanks for the lift :-)

    1. Sorry you're having a sad day, Susan. We finally have sunshine here after the longest winter ever followed by the monsoons of Spring. Wishing you a day of sunshine to look forward to tomorrow; it really does lift the spirits.

  5. Thank you for the beautiful pictures and the GK quote. I am praying for Mary's request...Lord have mercy!

John and I dream of getting a canoe and taking off to see the country when he retires. Maybe we'll come paddle in Wisconsin (-:

  6. I love the colors in your photos today. We are not lucky enough to live near open water and I so adore all that goes with that. Thanks for sharing a bit of it for me to moon over today!

My hubby and I actually own a canoe...a We-no-nah...and she is green. She hangs from our garage ceiling and we have not had her out since the grandkids started coming.

Oh, what beautiful color in those pictures. The color has dimension like a 3-D picture, I feel like I could touch those canoes and logs. We have hope that someday we will get to paddle in Wisconsin before we get too old to paddle that is. ;-) love and prayers, jep

  8. The first picture made me so happy. Immediately.
I was reading in Tim Keller's The Reason for God last night and he says similar things regarding justice/evil in the world. I won't try to repeat it without looking to get it right, but it was good enough to make me cry and long for Heaven.

Dear Susan, It still brings tears to my eyes thinking about the day our last dog died. She was so sick and we had to have her put to sleep, but it was a hard thing to do. Dogs are just so understanding and loving, so generous and forgiving and we miss them when they are gone. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. jep

    2. thanks jep - I had to have my Lucky boy put to sleep, too. He was almost 16 and in a lot of pain in his legs and spine. I had to carry him up and down the stairs to our flat. His doggy dementia had worsened too. It is the toughest decision to make, and I miss him a lot. He was a wonderful companion. Thanks for the comment and the prayers.
