The Easy Chef makes Strawberry Jam.
I found some freshly picked strawberries at our local grocery store yesterday afternoon so I whipped up a batch of home made strawberry jam. If you have not made this, you should try it. It is the easiest thing to do and the jam is just wonderful.
I use the recipe included in the Sure-Jell package for freezer jam.
(You need 1 1/2 pounds of strawberries, 1 package Sure-Jell, four cups sugar and 3/4 cup of water.)

Let's just revisit these pictures....
Fun times....
Love ya!

OK, so... I do look a little homeless (and I can say that). Or maybe just Mary Kate and Ashley-esque. Kinda the same style.
ReplyDeleteI want some toast and jam :)
"...Mary Kate and Ashley-esque." Nice.
Deleteheh!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was all good until you added your dad's sweater :op
I think you're darling and like that you have your own opinions about style.
The video made me laugh out loud! : )
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky....my grandma makes strawberry jam for the whole family. Her strawberry jam and sweet relish are hot commodities in our family.
Thanks for the smiles!

Does it work with less sugar?
ReplyDeleteIn danger of becoming 'that mom',
SS
Ball No Cook Freezer Jam takes about half the sugar. It is a bit loose but has the best flavor and is not as sweet.
DeleteI love homemade jam. I used to like the frothy stuff (my mother would skim it off the top into a blow and I'd put it on Saltine crackers). Your family is lucky! Like Steph, I'd probably need to consider a lower sugar version if I were to make it now.
ReplyDeleteSo love the weinermobile photos and video--glad you're sharing some of your Vines here because I love seeing them in your Vine feed.
That Asher...adorable.
EMMA..........KATIE...........but then what do you say at the end, we really love Breakfast?????? Can't make it out? Karen F.
ReplyDeleteBratfest!!! :)
ReplyDeleteKaren, I was wondering the same thing :-)
ReplyDeletea day late, but had to say: I love strawberry jam from the freezer. The sweeter the better ;-)
I'm with you, Susan. Save The Sugar!!
