Pinterest has a new and terrible way to embed Pins.  Why O why?
But after 45 minutes of struggling, I have found the answer.
Guess where?
Youtube.

Thank you Youtube...  thank you to the girl who made a little tutorial about it.

BTW.  Isn't that a pretty blouse?

That's all I wanted to do was show you a blouse and instead I went on a journey into the inner workings of code on Pinterest.

sheesh.

My friend Cheryl has opened up an Etsy shop with her gorgeous photography.
I pinned one of my favorite images.  Let's see if we click on this image we get sent to her Etsy....

If it does not work...you can find Cheryl @  Cheryl Sparks photos at Etsy.

Okay.  I just viewed this.  Look how little that pin is!
Dumb.

Congratulations Cheryl on your new endeavor!!
Wishing you much success and fun.

Alrighty...that is enough tech stuff for the day.
My pretty little head is spinning.

We have had a lovely week weather wise...cool and sunny.
Perfect for outdoor sports and trips to Starbucks....and lawn mowing.

Encourage one another,
Donna

  1. Hello from your Swiss Miss - where it has been HOT and humid this week. I hate to complain since it took so long for summer weather to arrive. And it is supposed to be rainy and cooler on the weekend.

Enough of that -- this image by Cheryl is truly beautiful. Thanks for telling us of her shop.

Time to sit in front of my fan.

A little bit of Swiss trivia: there are no air conditioners in homes or apartments. Most offices don't have A/C either. Only a very few trams or buses are cooled.

    BUT

If you want to cool off? Go to a chocolate shop and browse, browse, browse. Better yet, buy!

I would be inside the chocolate shops all day long. Get cool, buy and eat chocolate and smell like chocolate when you leave...win, win, win! ;-) jep

    1. YES I've been getting daily updates from my family. They are loving it, and you are correct: no A/C there either!

Our high on Tuesday was 91. It was about the same yesterday. Today was a bit lower in temp but the humidity on the rise :-) I'm endeavoring to enjoy it, in light of our chilly Spring!

Susan, good to know you'll have reason to browse and select some good chocolates for your upcoming trip to the States! :)

Congrats to Cheryl! No Blackhawks or volleyball games tonight, so I will be able to explore her Etsy site! The image you shared is gorgeous.

The blouse reminds me of the style that Ree wears. Really cute, but sadly too young looking for me.
It would darling on Emma I bet.

Photographs of the ocean, beaches, shells, sailing boats...oh and church steeples are favorites around here. Best of luck Cheryl, hope you do well on your Etsy site. I will pass along the site to others, too.

Reading about Susan and Alaska I feel cooler since it is only 89 right now here, but we should get up into the 90's today. Yay for AC!

    love and prayers, jep

Cheryl's photos are stunning. I love to see other people's perspective on things.
Also, I now want to go to the ocean. I once nannied for a couple who took me on vacation with them to Cape May, NJ. I loved it there and want to take my husband and daughter someday. Oh the ocean...there is nothing like it. I'm stuck in Iowa. Crap. hahaha
It's a hot one here today, too. Sophie and I are off to the swimming pool in a bit!

  7. Donna,

Thank you for your amazing support.... oh wait, maybe I need to thank you first, for your amazing workshop that actually taught me how to shoot my camera!!!! I never stop learning from you. I am so grateful for that. I'm sorry for those who only followed you on Ree's Photography site. They are truly missing out on a good thing.
To all who have commented, thank you for your encouraging words. It's a scary thing, taking a step out there. You have made me feel better about it!

  8. The very evening before, I was trying to figure out how to post a pin on my blog. Should have gone to You Tube! Thanks for the advice. And yes, your pin took me right to the pin itself, then from there to your friend's etsy page. Beautiful work, too.
