And We'll Never Be Royals.

I love this 60's sounding song.

I was inspired.

Oh you should have seen me trying to do this eye makeup.  Katie ended up just doing it herself.
We really didn't try too hard.  It was pretty dark and well....I'm just too lazy to be honest.

We did just enough to have fun.

My Tivo is on her last leg.  No.  I didn't think they were suppose to break or wear out.
But it is happening.  The cords attached to the TV, Tivo and VCR boggle my pretty little head.  I will have to wait for dh to come home and take a look.  I can trouble shoot a little but not a lot.

First world problems.

Moving on.

Did I tell you I made this delicious dish?
Well.  I did and it was awesome.

Encourage one another,
Donna

"That kind of lux just ain't for us..." I love that song and I belt it out when it comes on the radio.
Nice make-up, Miss Katie. Beautiful girl.

Oh no!! You better get the Tivo fixed! We would be lost without our dvr. I hate to say that, but it's true. :P

  2. That is a fun song! Too bad I can't practice the makeup on my son...don't think he'd be quite as cooperative (or accomplished) as Katie in the makeup area! :)

  3. I like the song! I LOVE the eye makeup. You are so much fun.
I want to come over for dinner.
I have to make something snazzy for my boys tonight. Maybe I can try that.

LOVE the eye makeup. And I love that Adele and Lorde are bringing it back because I remember it from the 60s. I was too young to wear it at the time but I remember the teenagers and models wearing it. It was fabulous with the ratted bubble hairdo. Remember?

    1. Yes. There is a funny commercial with a mom wearing the 'smokey eye'....and her kids can't quite believe. My Aunt Betty was all about that hairdo!!!

  7. I am hopeless with make-up and fancy hairdos. Something about working in a mirror makes me very confused (-:

Fun song. Pretty darn cute Katie.

  10. Donna=========Love the song-----I have never heard it, but I am stuck on the news or the Oldies station !! I love the make-up. I noticed when Sadie, (the young daughter of Willie and Korie on Duck Dynasty) was in NY, she was on the runway for her new clothing line (more modest prom dresses). http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/duck-dynasty-sadie-robertson-hits-runway-york-fashion-20233543 Anywho, she had the new (old) eye make-up style too. Very Glam ! Reminds me of Liz Taylor when she was Cleopatra-and I mean that in a good way !

The recipe looks and sounds good. Reminds me of my Beef burgandy recipe from 47 years ago. Did you serve over noodles? I like rice---DH likes it over mashed potatoes.

  11. I can't remember what I serve it with. Is your beef burgandy this easy? You should share it!

  12. I love that song too and sing it loud whenever it's on. Just the other day in the car (with the radio OFF) Gavin at 4 years old, started singing to himself, "Baby, I'll rule (I'll rule, I'll rule), Let me live that fantasy...". It totally cracked me up!

Love the eye make-up! Can you do that to me? :)
