Cuteness overload.

DSC_6041-4

She really was a pretty puppy...our Ginny Potter Harper Daisy Minnie Honey Glyman Boucher.

Ginny is growning into a very nice girl.  She learns quickly and gets along well with others.

We loves her.

It's mutual.
I'm sure.

Is it wrong to clip her chin hairs?

I clip our dogs' "eyebrow hairs" all the time. You want them to look feminine, don't you?

  5. I do NOT think you should clip those hairs. I was once told they are sort of "sensory" feelers for animals. Our little baby has these wild eyebrows and chin hairs ... I just leave 'em alone.

    1. Our groomer trims them and says girls don't need them. Cats use their whiskers as feelers but dogs don't.

  6. I just laughed outloud about trimming her chin hairs. But 45th Parallel Quilter may be on to something!

  7. What 45th said. ^^ my doggie used to get some wicked crazy eyebrow hairs and Foo Man Choo chin hairs. Of course he was a boy :-)

Love any photos of K & G but especially that first one of puppy Ginny. Katie looks so pretty with the braid.

  8. I think you should tell us all the bad things Ginny does. I have massive Lab envy. She is darling.

How's the school year going for Katie?

Of course you can! Our dog has those stray wirey whiskers on her muzzle. The groomer trims them every time.

  12. I personally have wild eyebrows and chin hairs, and now I am wondering if I have done some sort of damage to my "sensory feelers" yanking them out. :)

And on another note, your blog is a very favorite of mine. I found it by accident through the Pioneer Woman (I loved your title), and now, while I rarely visit the wonderful Pioneer Woman's site anymore, I still come here regularly. I for one am sad to see blogs lose out to FB. FB is like a big, giant party where you can have fun and snippets of catch-up time with a whole bunch of people. Blogs are more like dinner with a few friends.

Thank you for letting a bunch of strangers feel like we are a few friends sitting down to dinner with you. :) Please keep blogging!

Both Katie and Ginny have grown so much from one photo to the other!! Both are also such pretty girls. :)

I love Tina's quote above ^^ "Blogs are more like dinner with a few friends." I so enjoy stopping in for "dinner" each day.

    Happy weekend to all!

Thank you for showing pictures of Ginny, I had a yellow lab for 13 years, he has been gone for two and when I see Ginny I can remember all the good times that we had with our sweet boy Colt. Ginny is so sweet!
