USAV Junior Beach Tour Championships.

She's gonna be exhausted

Badger Beach Volleyball!!

For the next three days...
this is were Katie and I will be.

Katie is playing in a big beach volleyball tournament.  She plays all three days.
I'm exhausted just thinking of it.

Off to Milwaukee before the sun is up tomorrow morning.

It's a big adventure for the two of us.

I'm nervous about all of it.

Breath in.
Breath out.

Encourage one another,
Donna

Dear Donna - I sent this quote to a friend yesterday and will post it here, too -

"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think" Winnie the Pooh.

Although, truthfully, you seem very strong to me!

I'm excited for your adventure :-) I hope Katie has a wonderful time! Can't wait to hear about it all!!! I know you will take lots of great photos too.

God bless your travels and this special time xxx

Using my laptop, hugs from Susan in Munich

    p.s. I miss the days when I was a Swiss Miss ;-)

I love big water, be it lakes, rivers, seas, oceans, bays...have I forgotten anything? ;-)
Hope you both have a fun time and you find a shady spot for the heat of the day.

I am a poetry lover from way back. So happy when others enjoy them, too.

  5. Love the top photo! I spent some time this week looking through Gray Malin's photos on his website -- lots of beach fine art photography. This reminded me of his work! Beautiful! :)

  8. Hope the weather smiles on you all weekend, Donna!

I do recognize that feeling having gone to a college orientation down there this summer. Had an unexpected detour with no signs for re-routing in a rather scary kind of neighborhood. Prayed out loud a BUNCH (after locking the car doors) and the Lord brought us out just fine. Trust Him. He's the best GPS in those situations!

    Blessings,

  9. Late to the party, but will be praying. I am in Las Vegas, land of the "dry heat", for a basketball tournament. So as Bren prepares to play today, I will pray for you and Katie on your adventure!

And what a beautiful place to play. I hope she has so much fun!!
