“It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want—oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!”
~Mark Twain
And that sums it up perfectly!
Wishing you temps that soar above 32º.
Encourage one another,

the photo above is pure loveliness. I just had to go "ahhhhh" in spite of myself.
ReplyDeleteIt is 57 sunny degrees here today. We never had winter. I'm worried that we'll have a crumby summer, but who knows??
Let me tell you, Donna, I sat down here to take a break from sorting, purging, organizing my stuff for the movers, who come on Monday. Thanks for this wonderful spot. Truly.
Thank you, Susan!

DeleteKeeping you in my prayers for a safe and uneventful move. Traveling Mercies, God be with you and take you safely to your new home. (paraphrasing Anne Lamott)! jep
DeleteI appreciate that so much, jep!
DeleteI am praying for the move, too, Susan. Not a big fan of moving, so I am impressed with your good cheer. Munich will be blessed to have you.

thanks, Di ! it helps that it is a company move, so the packers/movers come today! my prep work is done, now I just get to stand around and watch :-) I appreciate the prayers; moving is big work, even with the pros helping :-/
DeleteYou're welcome to come down to my house today! It's an absolutely perfect spring day here in northeast Florida!
ReplyDeleteWhat s lovely invitation!
ReplyDeleteAny time! :-D
DeleteSince we got a little bit of snow overnight (again!!!), I have a bad case of spring fever. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful photo and a reminder of what is to come.....

Oh this picture makes me think of Bermuda. We went there in 2005 for vacation, because I promised my husband that it would be the only really big trip I would ask for ever. My great, many greats grandfather built the alter in St. Peter's Anglican church there and was the first governor…they ran him off of the island and back to England, but his children migrated to the U.S. It is a beautiful place and when I can't sleep at night sometimes, I picture being there and feel calm and happy all over again. Really the nicest people live there, too. Ah, Bermuda…such a delightful memory. Thanks Donna for the reminder. love and prayers for each one here, jep
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhh, I can just FEEL that warm breeze as I sit staring, mindlessly, at the horizon beyond the blue water. Total rejuvenation of the spirit and mind ... complete bliss. Thank you for the little "break" and escape from 170+ inches of snow and temperatures in the teens .... tonight we change the clocks, moving them forward (Spring forward, Fall back) ... another sign that spring IS on its way. Linda
ReplyDeleteI haven't been by today because, well, it's 76 degrees outside after being freezing with rain for days.. We've been raking, cutting wood (for a wedding in October!) and just sitting outside. I feel bad telling you this. Know that I'm wishing warmer weather for you!!
