Old Time Respect




When we were children we learned a few things about respect for our political leaders and our country.

Here they are...

We were taught that when the American Flag passes by...Stand out of respect.

And a lesser known rule I learned as a child...The President of the United is always called President, even after they have left the office.

Even if you hate them...it is proper to say President Reagan, President Carter, President Bush...
Not Mr. (Mister)

The media seems to have missed class the day this rule was taught.
We can do better with our children.
Teach them well.
