Since sliced bread.

Folks...the comments are still going strong about Downton Abbey.  Melinda has made her appearance and has brought her strong opinions along with her :o)

I am surprised more of you did not comment on the Kid President's video.
Katie and Emma and I think it is the best thing in the world.

Kid President. A Pep Talk.

"I'm on your team, be on my team."

"What if there really were two paths?  I want to be on the one that leads to awesome!"

"And I love Space Jam."

"What will be your Space Jam? What will you create to make the world awesome?"

"You were made to be awesome."

"Create something that will make the world awesome....
You just been pep talked!"

    1. White Collar is the Huge.

FBI stuff on USA channel. My SIL turned me onto it when I was up in Anchorage a few years back. Kinda like Downton - gotta start at the beginning. It's a smart show with a great cast and I do love it. Can you tell?

Always a score when a show (even re-run) that I like is on in English. :-)

    2. p.s. Gotta back up here - the show is not a BIT like D.A. - but you need to start at the beginning of White Collar to get the whole concept/background. sheesh. Can you tell I had a glass of red with my pizza?

  3. I like White Collar. I haven't watched it much, just started a little lately because I discovered one of the main lady characters is actually a real sized woman. As in, not a size 2. She is beautiful and a more normal weight. Hip hip hooray for real women on TV. I looked her up, Tiffany Thiessen plays Emily Burke.

The kid President was great. You quoted my favorite line today: "What if there really were two paths? I want to be on the one that leads to awesome!"

  5. Susan, we love White Collar.

I have shown all of my family that video, Donna. Rex works with jr. high kids at his church and they are going to be showing it on Sunday morning with the youth (-:

My favorite line is "I want to be on the one that leads to awesome!" You and me both, Kid Pres.

His dance moves at the end? The make me laugh and a little weepy, all at the same time. My kids favorite part? "She's fighting cancer...like a BOSS!" What a cute boy.

John wants to show it in his classroom but has to figure out a way to get YouTube through the filters on campus. I do think they are going to show it to the teachers at the staff mtg., though.

THANK YOU for posting the video, Donna.

p.s. when DA finally comes out on DVD and I watch it, look for more comments...you know me and my opinions. Off to read Melinda!

That is such a great picture of you and Katie. And, I keep forgetting to tell you how pretty your hair is. One of your sisters visited not long ago or you put a picture up and both of you had such pretty hair. It must be that beautiful people in Wisconsin thing that Di talks about.... I did/do love Kid President and his pep talk. I would just like for my eyes to stop leaking and my nose to stop running and to stop sneezing and I could comment more. ;0
    love and prayers, jep
PS Have not seen DA, so I am not reading your comments about it which is oh so hard not to do!
