Peonies are my favorite flowers. I had a bunch of them from my dad at our old house. He split his and gave them to me. I regret that I didn't dig them up when we moved. :( I have been reading old posts, and saw the pics of your mom. I remember her telling me that growing up she lived near the state line, and if she and her friends had a fight, they would say "go back to your own state" I always found that so fascinating and cool! Praying for you, Donna. I had an abscessed tooth years ago, and then a root canal to treat it. It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced besides childbirth. May God ease your pain tonight and heal your mouth quickly. Sending loving thoughts.
I love peonies! I have a friend in Illinois who has moved her mom's peonies from mom's house (after she passed) to her house in Batavia - and then to her new house in Genoa, IL. And the lovely things are thriving. They give her lots of joy and wonderful memories of her mom. I just love that. SO sorry to read about your discomfort from the root canal.
Here at our house we have been praying for you all day Donna. Dear God, please give Donna a restful night, free of pain and help her sore mouth to heal. Amen Root canals are no fun at all. The peonies we had in Wyoming were lovely. I think it is too warm here for them. love and prayers, jep
kathyb...that is an old picture...no flowers yet. Southern Gal....I had the root canal and temp crown made today. In two weeks I go back for the permanent crown. Feeling better tonight.

That's so funny Kris. Harvard Illinois is on the border of Wis. My mom grew beautiful roses. We were blessed weren't we?
ReplyDeleteIs that an x-ray of your mouth? Ouch!! I hope you are feeling better today. Perhaps a milk shake might be in order!

ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sorry you're so sore. Did they get it all done in one visit? There are usually two or three appointments.
