Last night on Dancing with the Stars, Maks and Meryl (Olympic Ice Dancer) danced a fantastic tango to a really cool song. I loved it.
I liked this too...
Katie and I always want a romance to blossom on Dancing with the Stars. But I don't think it ever has.
Back to school...thirty four days until 8th grade graduation.
We are pretty excited!
God bless,
Donna
Very cool dance!!! Were they the best of the night? I do wish The Voice wasn't on at the same time.
ReplyDeleteMiss you.

Yes. This dance got all Tens.
DeleteMiss you too!
Has Katie chosen her high school? Our 8th graders have a tough time because the nearest Catholic school is a 40-minute drive. About 1/3-1/2 of the students do choose that route, though. The rest go to public high schools in our town, which by all accounts are very good schools. I've been thinking of you and Katie as I watch our 8th-graders go through this last semester. So many big "lasts" for them.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy,
DeleteThere is a popular Catholic High School in Madison but it costs 10,000 a year. So... Katie will go to the local public high school. Not one person from her grade school will be there... But she has a very good friend and many sports acquaintances at that school. The HS is one mile away. I am hoping and praying for the best.
She is going to be awesome, and you are going to be rich, saving on gas alone! :)
DeleteOh, that was me, Sandy C, on the comment about Katie and high school. :)
ReplyDeleteI have the granddaughters for a few days while their mama and daddy take a little trip.
ReplyDeleteThere was no way I could have watched. Thanks for posting your favorite!
It's a fact -- Maks always looks good dancing. I thought a romance developed between him and Erin Andrews a few years back. Also, between Mark Ballas and the Cheetah girl partner he had - Sabrina something? I love a good romance. :)
ReplyDeleteOnly 26 days until high school graduation. Gulp. Hope Katie enjoys the heck out of her last month!!

I love how Meryl seems to understand Maks who has an intense personality that other people often find difficult. He reminds me of one of my sons and like him, is also very sensitive but because it is under a hard crust is under recognized. Evidence that Maks is still hurt and hindered by the "phoning it in" criticism.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you completely!
DeleteI had to come back and watch this dance again. So, SO good. Thanks for posting!!!!

Wow. That dance is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteFinally got a chance to watch the dance. Wow! They move like they are one person. Very impressive.
ReplyDeleteI think I better count how many school days we have left...it is going fast and we have a lot to finish.
Love Wins!
