Still loves chalk.
It won't be long now.....
Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe ...
Phil 2:14-15

Philippians. My favorite. And this verse especially, because the darker the sky, the brighter the stars!!
ReplyDeleteOh! That's good.
DeleteWhat a wonderful thought, Stephanie. Thank you. And BTW, when I need a peaceful blessing while driving I play your songs that I got off iTunes. Your voice is so clear, your star is shining so brightly in the dark sky.
DeleteDebbie Z.
Debbie Z., you just made my day. Thank you SO much. I memorized Philippians in like.. 1994, I think it was.. and large chunks of it remain in my brain - it's sort of a soundtrack for life for me, and it's the times when I've been most appalled by the darkness around me that the light of God's word has prevailed, you know? I am so grateful. It's just all so much bigger than our little stories.
DeleteStephanie, I didn't know you had songs on itunes so I just went and listened. Wow, Beautiful!! I especially like The Holy Bride because that is a familiar song to me.

I bought three of your songs. : P
Stephanie, my favorite is At The Moment. You sing it so beautifully and it makes me long for heaven so much.
DeleteDebbie Z.
Thanks guys!!! O Happy Day!! :)
DeleteI love it too "... holding out the words of Life"
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God for Grace.

ReplyDeleteYes, thanks be to God for his grace.

I read your site every single day, but I rarely comment. I just have to tell you this though....the other day I was walking down the hall at the school where I teach and a girl had on a shirt that read, "Love You Mean It." An awesome reminder of you!
ReplyDeleteLike like like!!!
DeleteDo you remember that song that went 'Shine. Make 'em wonder what you got? Make 'em wish that they were note. On the outside looking in?' I think it was popular when I went to college in 1994.
ReplyDeleteWe love that Newsboys song.
DeleteShine, make 'em shine before all men, let 'em see good works and then, let 'em glorify The Lord!
ReplyDeleteSuch good stuff here! The photos, the verse, the comments. Love it all today. Have to go hear Steph sing on iTunes now. :)
