Have you heard of these pretty succulent gardens? This one hangs on the wall. It is called a vertical succulent wall garden. I NEVER thought of succulents as pretty...or colorful. But they are and I love them.
If you go to Etsy and type in succulent wreath you will find many choices, including do it yourself projects.

My friend Ryan posted this quote on FB yesterday. Thanks Ryan.

When I saw the title of your post my first response was that I don't like 'em. I was wrong. That wreath is AWESOME. I don't think I would go as far as making a bouquet out of them, but I really like the designs you have shown.
ReplyDeleteI was wrong. I like 'em!

I have a couple friends here in the city that LOVE succulents. Ahem. Whitney. Remember the farmers market?
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty. The bouquet is kind of cool. I want her nails :)
DeleteThat's right. She will like the blog today :o)
DeleteOh wow! A shout out on the blog :) Love it! I hope your snow has melted, it has here in NYC! Happy Easter! xoxo Ryan
ReplyDeleteGreat quote!! LM Montgomery is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAs for succulents, I have always been a fan - and these are gorgeous.
I absolutely love the wreath! I think I am going to make a goal of making one tomorrow : ). Wish me luck! I will have Naji and Bria racing around with Kaish, so I am not sure I will be able to, but I am definitely going to try! : )
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter.
I have seen pictures of succulents popping up all over the place and LOVE THEM! Are they easy to care for or a challenge? Like sun or shade? I really want to learn about growing them :-)
ReplyDeleteOur snow over the past couple of days feels much worse than a slap! But your quote has encouraged me and now I will be anticipating a great big SMOOCH in May! :-)
Blessings,
Tammy
I want that wreath!! I'm going to have to go google this business right now.

Martha Stewart Living just had a feature on succulents. They are truly the "in thing" now :)
ReplyDeleteDo you remember the little rock wall in the front yard of my Seattle house? (the one Emma leapt around after the Nutcracker) It was full of succulents. They're so easy!
ReplyDeleteI've started to love succulents, after thinking they were my Grandma's style of plant for a while. They grow beautifully in my living room window. I need to add some red/purple ones!
