I'm sorry I've been tardy this week. I have had appointment after appointment.
Katie and I stopped at Michael's yesterday and she made this pretty flower headband.
We do not know our way around this store at all....but her first hand made project turned out so well.
She just loves it!!!
Praying for you and your appointments. I too have been first one appointment and test and then another and am ready to figure this all out and get healthy again.
Katie, that is beautiful and I am so impressed with your eye for color and ability to create. For me, I just keep wearing what I have and try not to notice any strange looks if they come my way. So, I live by that rule, too. The best thing to remember is you are not dressed until you put on your smile! ;-) love and prayers, jep
I love the headband wreath too !! Perfect for a May Day celebration, or any day ! I wish she would make a you tube video of how she did it like the one she made for the "bun" in the back of her head. I know I worded that wrong, but I know you remember what I mean !! Let's face it: She lights up your blog page with every passing pic, and I have really enjoyed watching her grow up !
I am so sorry I've been so sporadic with my visits. No wait . . . with my comments. I come here every day yet sometimes I just don't know what to say. But I always feel better for having come. And that's a fact.
I love that headband, Katie. Well done! And as for navigating through Michael's...not my skill set, that's for sure.
Today I am wearing a shirt that Claire told me I shouldn't keep. She is such good fashion sense, I usually obey her every command. But today I told her, "I love this shirt, it is soooo comfy...I am keeping it." Forgetting the rules here and enjoying every minute.
I wish I could wear what I liked. Alas, I feel like I have to walk in the ways of age appropriateness. I would wear a hat every day (if I looked good in a hat). ;) Great headband, Katie.
Katie looks adorable and great color combo! I love the sign, if you like it wear it..........I'm sure Stacey and Clinton wouldn't agree with that one! I saw a cute T-Shirt the other day, it said: I have more Issues than Vogue! Cute post Donna :) Karen F.
Love the picture of Katie with her new "bonnet" and with Ginny ... that is a picture when she is our age she will look back at remembering fondly the time spent with you. Thanks for sharing with us ... it brightens the start of each day! Happy Easter!!!
I find that if an outfit makes me smile when I put it on, others will have the same reaction when they see me! I know your pictures of Katie made me smile. I have learned that confidence is the key, and I hope to hand this down to my daughter.
Great job on the floral headband, Katie!! It looks great with your hair! :)
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with the appointments. xoxo

I just love her flower wreath. Katie is so lovely. There is this joy inside her that escapes into the pictures.
