God Bless you Mitch.

    3. I pray all goes well. Just remember not to bite down too hard when they are trying to fit your temporary crown. I did, and broke it. More time in the chair !! Remember---since you like quotes---Be true to your teeth, or they will be false to you !!! (Name that movie kiddo !!) Also------what time do you make a dentist appt., so you won't forget? Toothurty !!!

    5. You will have my prayers, Donna. Your comment about crumbling teeth the other day caused me to have a sympathetic shiver. May all go well tomorrow.

I saw this yesterday morning, too. So inspiring! I was so touched when he was talking about how he never had children of his own, but the children in Haiti were like his own. Melts my heart.
Good luck tomorrow at your appointment, Miz Boo. All is well. : )

  5. Thank you for sharing that, Donna. I've only read the first two of his books. I need to read the others.

I hope the root canal goes well. You'll never watch the dentist scene in "Finding Nemo" the same way again. (I was a CDA for years and the accuracy of the scene in that movie!)

What a joy to come here and see this story today, thank you for sharing Donna. Mitch Albom has done some great work for God...love that quote, I am going back to write it down in my journal.

Dear God, Please bless Donna today at her dentist appointment with Your Grace and Love. Help the dentist to be sure of hand and careful and caring. Lord in Your Mercy, hear our prayer. Amen

Wow! Mitch is quite a guy. The HUGE. Thank you for sharing. Good luck tomorrow at your appointment. Any dental appointment is a stressor for me, so I certainly feel your pain.

I don't mean this offensively, but it is amazing to see a story like this of such a loving, filled with the fruits of the spirit MAN. He has an incredible heart, and like he said, must acknowledge that it is God that works through and with him. Awesome.

  9. That was a beautiful piece. I am very moved by his generosity and love for people. When Mitch was greeted by the children in Haiti, it made me a bit weepy. Thanks Donna!

  13. Saw this on Sunday Morning yesterday ... LOVE that show and watch it every week. GREAT report on a man whose writings I've enjoyed but didn't know the other things. Wonderful reporting and a positive story after hearing nothing but painful things on nightly and other weekly news formats.
