Whatever it takes.

upload

We love to laugh and we love to make one another laugh and anyone else....if you must know.

The other day I was being especially weird and Katie was making faces at me....

I said, "Whatever it takes, Katie.  Whatever it takes."

And that is how we roll.

As Katie says, "We will do whatever it takes for you to pee your pants."

Both of my girls like to make crazy faces in pictures.
I don't like to do that.  I don't need to look worse, thank you very much.

But everyday Emma snapchats with me...pretty Ariel hair shots and crazy face shots.

Both of these make me laugh so hard.

She knows it and continues to send them my way.

I am super lucky, I know.

Encourage one another,
Donna

P.S.  I am trying to analyse why the Ariel pictures make me laugh.  I haven't pinpointed it yet!
P.P.S. ahahahhhhhh...ahahahhhhhhhh....

  1. Your girls are both so beautiful. I do not know them personally, but their beauty seems to be much more than just a physical beauty - they seem to have beautiful souls.

I'm sorry if that sounds a little stalker-ish or strange - but that is what I think almost every time I see a photo of them.

You have done well raising them, Mom! :-)

    1. It is *amazing*!!! I'm not full-time yet (and will probably only keep him 3-4 days a week) - still transitioning from the clinic. I have him today though, and it has been wonderful. Went to the feed store to see the baby chicks and ducks and bunnies. Loving the ability to take life a little more slowly!

Love the laughter! I think what makes you laugh at Emma's Ariel shot is that she is so not a princess, even if she looks like one. Also, am I thinking you are singing like Ariel in the P.P.S.? I am a big Little Mermaid fan!

    She makes a lovely Ariel.

  5. I think the Ariel is funny because of the excessive posing... or something. Maybe it's an inside joke and no one else will laugh.

Donna, your hair looks great in the top photo. Did you get it cut, or lightened or something? Love it. Very cute picture of you and Katie.

You girls are funny! : P

I love to laugh too and I'm really good at being weird. Just ask my daughter, sisters, or my husband. : )

  8. Laughing can solve so many things. I don't know what I would do without my weird sense of humor. Life can be so hard...we just have to laugh to balance the whole thing out (-:

True confessions: I have never seen Little Mermaid. But that doesn't stop me from giggling with you.

    Love,
    Di

My husband directs the annual musical at the middle school where he teaches. They just did Little Mermaid last month which was so cute AND has such fun songs!

Laughter really is such good medicine! Laughing with your girls, being silly together, it will keep you young and happy.

    P.S. I can't believe how long Ariel's - I mean Emma's hair is!

  10. Just a note to thank you for your wonderful blog. I had a horrible week with my son going unexpectedly to the hospital and coming home with I.V. feeding through a line in his arm that I have to manage for two weeks until he can have surgery. I missed catching up on "my blogs" while I was gone, and most particularly missed your daily encouragement in photos, quotes, family stories, and the best comment section on the internet.
