Beauty is all around.

Story time in Lincoln Square.

Strollers lined up outside a book store in Lincoln Square.

I am reading Peace Like a River by Leif Enger.  Many of the QL readers recommended it.
Emma has finished it is impatient with me to finish it.

Emma loves this quote;

“Fair is whatever God wants to do.”

Here is another favorite;

“I remember it as October days are always remembered, cloudless, maple-flavored, the air gold and so clean it quivers.”

Beautiful words.
Beautiful images.

Raking up our piles of good.

Encourage one another,
Donna

  1. Hi!

    I adore this book, I have read it twice :-)

    Perfect read for fall.

    Right now I am slowly reading Pride and Prejudice (for the first time!) Between Bible Study homework and travel research. SO good.

    Good morning! I love the story time photo. It looks like a picture out of a movie to me. It's a different world than what I live in...not in a bad way...it's just that I live in a small town.
    Lovely bokeh. Oh man, that first quote is good.

    Happy Monday all!
    Love,
