Here is the world.

Thank you for your kind words in the comments over the weekend.
Thank you for walking with us.
It matters.  It really matters.

Waiting for the bus. I'll miss you Emma.

Katie went to the homecoming dance with some of her friends on Saturday.
And then they slept over here!
Yes.  We are crazy.

But it went very well and the old folks were able to sleep...and isn't that the most important part?

Love it.

Katie has always been a hugger.  Remember how she hugged too much when she went away to school?
I'm happy to see she still has it in her :o)

JV volleyball also had a big tournament on Saturday.  They won the whole thing!
That was a thrill!!!

Yesterday Melinda wrote that her mom was about to move to rehab.  Probably Monday or Tuesday.
But last night she took a terrible turn  and had to be put back on the ventilator.  She is having to fight Acidosis once again and this is proving worse than the terrible broken foot.

Please continue to pray for a quick turnaround and good news today.

Here is the world.  Beautiful and terrible things will happen.  Don't be afraid.

Hi Donna, I just got caught up with all your posts from the last several days. Emma is quite a girl, and Katie had an amazing weekend. You must be a proud mom :). I will keep Melinda's mom in my prayers. I am sure she is fighting as hard as she can to get back to those three beautiful grandbabies!

  2. Good morning, I like being on a similar time zone :-)

These pics tell a fun story, I love them. Katie is a doll, her friends too.

I kid you not, I read that quote yesterday; it's meaning went/goes straight to my heart.

Finally, most importantly, calling out to God for Carol Sue right now. Lord, hear our prayers. We put our hope in YOU, God. Your love never fails.

    Love you. Mean it.

  3. P.S. love love love the pic of you and Emma xxx

  4. Praying Donna for Melinda's mom. I pray that her body is able to fight hard and that God heals her immediate crisis so that she can recover quickly. I know that prayers of family, friends and total strangers have brought our family comfort during difficult trials. May you all feel his peace and know his steadfast love.
