Hope you have a fine weekend too, Donna. I am not much into any kind of music, but I did find this "marble machine" quite fascinating. I think the man who built it much be an engineering genius, along with his musical ability. I saw it on the NPR website, but it is also at the YouTube site below. The songs that come to mind so often to me now are ones that I remember from being a child. Our parents can influence our musical tastes...at least in my case. ;-) I do enjoy Frank Sinatra's singing...good memories. Thanks! love and prayers, jep
Cowboy take me away always makes me think of my husband...for obvious reasons ;)
I miss the Dixie Chicks. They were great in their prime!
Frank had a voice like butter. Love the CDs I have and I play them for mellow background music. Debbie Z.
I like your musical taste very much, Donna. My daughter LOVED the Dixie Chicks especially Cowboy Take Me Away. She said she was going to marry a cowboy. That didn't happen, but she still loves the song.
Hi Donna! I listened to the Dixie Chicks as well. Have you listened to the youtubes with them and James Taylor? It's amazing!! Nice to meet you today :)Ceil
