It's all about the bass, don't cha know.

All about the bass by Meghan Trainor along with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots.
I think this may be my favorite so far.  The guys seem to love this song!

The locker has been conquered!
First try yesterday morning!

woo.

Katie's first game was last night.  She had fun, played well and encouraged her
team mates!

The Brewers have lost nine in a row and have finally fallen out of first place.
I am ignoring them.

The Packers lost.
I'm ignoring them too.

I get too worked up.
Ain't nobody got time for that!

Lots of love,

  1. Oh my word, I LOVE that version!!! I swear, Jimmy Fallon and the Roots should put out a collection of these songs that they perform with other artists on the show. I would totally buy it.

Glad to see Katie is having a good time at school. I know that transition won't be easy for me, should my kids decide to go to public school. I will miss having them home with me!!

Oh, I'll have to show Sophie the video. I showed her the Carlton videos last night. She thought they were so funny.
    Way to go, Katie!

Jimmy Fallon is so talented AND such a nice guy. Wouldn't you love to have him as a neighbor?

Katie is rocking high school which is wonderful to hear!

So sorry about the Brew crew and the Pack. We Chicago fans certainly understand your pain.....

  6. Mary Z, I thought the same thing about Jimmy. He seems genuinely kind, amazingly talented, and he has so much fun. All great qualities for a neighbor or friend. Good times happen with Jimmy.

Sorry about your teams. At least your football guys aren't a bunch of law breakers. Way too many 9ers in the not-so-nice news these days. Sad.

My hubby feels every moment of pain and joy of his San Francisco Giants and his Oakland As. I tell him I turn my back from time to time, not because I don't care, but because I care way too much. I don't think he believes me. Bay Area baseball is in his DNA. No waffling for him. These pennant races take years off his life (-:

Locker is conquered. She's on her way. I feel like I want to grab a hold and hang on...the train is moving quickly down the tracks! I want to remember these "why can't I open this dumb locker" days. It's all moving too fast for a sentimental mama.

Happy weekend. First home football game here tonight. Green and white face paint getting applied as I type!

    Love,
    Di
