Throw Back Thursday-California

In 2010 we went to California to visit our son Patrick.  These pictures flash by on my computer when it goes to rest.  The colors are amazing and I love looking at them.

Oh!  What a beautiful world we live in.

(Monterey Aquarium, Big Sur)

Surely all God's people, however serious or savage, great or small, like to play. Whales and elephants, dancing, humming gnats, and invisibly small mischievous microbes - all are warm with divine radium and must have lots of fun in them.

  5. Your aquarium photos are stunning, Donna. The blues in the jellyfish shots take my breath away. Gorgeous. We just visited the aquarium in Charleston last weekend. I had a tough time with the lighting as usual, but I still have the not so great pictures to remember it by. ;) How can 2010 be four years ago?!?!

I agree, how can that trip have been four years ago? Seems like it was just yesterday, because your trip and photographs are so incredibly brilliant. I remember the post when you got home and you shared a couple of these with us then. I agree with Emma, you need another California trip. You could break up the drive by stopping in Omaha. I wish Moms and Dads could just blink eyes and get to their children who live far away. Where is "Beam us up Scotty" when you need him? ;-) love and prayers, jep

  8. Oh the otter! My Aunt and Uncle's last name was Otters. They were like my grandparents since my mom's parents passed away when she was in high school. Every time I see an otter I think of them and their amazing collection of otters. Their house was one of my most favorite places (in Rolling Meadows) in the world. The tear your otter has must be for my Uncle. He just passed away a few weeks ago.
