A Manifesto or two.

Who's got the wine?

Yup.
Same goes for husbands.

Make Pictures!
Check.

One day I will believe this will all my heart.
I just know it.

Have you seen Pitch Perfect?
The cup song is sweeping the nation...among kiddos.

You are now....hip.

Encourage one another and happy week. end.
Donna Elsie

  1. I haven't seen it but I want to. Is it clap clap bongo drums beat the cup? I loved that as a High schooler... Running out the door. More later!!!

    1. Doesn't it just lift your day to see the sun shine?! It sounds like we might pay for it about Thursday of next week, so we have to enjoy it while it's here. :)

  7. Love that cup song -- also love that she nailed it cold on letterman! There is also a You Tube video of two sisters -- like 12 and 6 -- and they do a cup song together that's equally cool. They live in Nashville and appear to be big up and comers. Their voices were magic. Also, LOVE the photography quote. :)

Here are the sisters singing -- they're playing butter containers! I mean, really...I can't imagine being this talented and sitting around singing with my recylcing! I couldn't figure out how to do a hyperlink but you can just cut and paste into your address bar.

    Happy weekend!!

  10. I've got the wine! Check.

I love the saying, Life is too short to drink bad wine. (Or coffee for that matter.)

    I'm wearing a scarf. Check.

It is my accessory of choice and a day without a scarf around my neck is like a day without sunshine. Actually I need it more on those days with no sun. It's my own personal temperature regulator.

Too hot on the train? take the scarf off. Getting chilly? Put it back on.

    Have a blessed weekend :-)

Great quotes. The Irish in me prefers to drink beer with a robust heart, but I'm onboard with everything else. Molly made up a cup version of I Dreamed a Dream. Sometimes she's so clever, I can't believe we're related. :)

Happy weekend to you, too! Mary Z

  16. OH MY GOODNESS! I used to know that cup rhythm when I was about 13 (over 20 years ago). We learned at summer camp, but we never put a song to it. It was so fun to have a table full of teens doing it at the same time. The sound was amazing in our dining hall. Very cool! I may have to go relearn it!

  17. My kids have done the cup thing with friends for years...they've actually done it so loudly as to get in trouble at a debate tournament (-: But to combine with singing? Oh, my Zack would love that!

    Thanks for the inspiration, Donna,
